Malabar Badminton Academy opened in 2014 with the prime aim to promote and develop the game of badminton with a wider objective to extent excellent coaching to the young boys and girls for moulding them for a bright future.

Malabar Badminton Academy further aims to explore the hidden talent of the children in the field of the badminton and make them aspire for national and in- trinational laurels by providing them adequate exposure.

Vision

To unearth potential talents in the region and equip them with world class facilities and training, so as to mould State National and International champions in badminton.

Mission

  • To spot young talents and polish their potentials with best state of art training. To set up world class infrastructure to expose the talents to the best facilities.
  • To provide unmatched training to ensure that a continuous stream of players in all categories emerge and vie with the best in the world and win top honor’s at National and International levels
  • To expose them to state of the art technology and equipment’s from a young age so that they feel comfortable at any level of competition
  • To ensure best ambience to hone up the skills of the players to peak their performance to beat the best in the world

MBA Dual Core Training

Malabar Badminton Academy offers unique dual core types of training programs, in accordance to International Badminton practices:

  • Sport performance-designed for students to pursue badminton as an elective sport and to keep a healthy dynamic lifestyle.
  • High Performance- designed for students who compete in many junior national and local open tour-naments with the goal of qualifying for State/National International competitions.

S. Muralidharan – Academy Vice Chairman International Referee and IBF Coach (One of the two IBF coaches of India.)

Head Coach:

Ram C Vijay – Former Head coach of Peru National team, BWF level 1 certified, Former Indian international Player and Doubles and Mixed Doubles National Champion.
